Predator V Prey is a National Geographic show I was CG Lead on whilst at Doghouse Post.
I oversaw several people and their shots, as well as creating key parts of pipeline and assets.
Part of my role was to create grooms that functioned well in Unreal, and to a relatively high render speed.
The models above were purchased from Turbosquid, however the grooms and textures were all redone by me, primarily in XGEN along with a plugin I wrote myself to streamline export to Unreal.
The renders above are rendered with Unreal's pathtracer at around a frame a second, so not quite realtime, but outside of pathtracing mode it was extremely workable.
