Droplet was a short film I worked on. I did most of the 3D assets and all of the Post.
Written and Directed by Simon Deeley, I began on the project by doing look tests with the assets.
I made each set and textured all assets, as well as animating some parts.
It was rendered in Redshift, which I was experimenting with at the time. I utilised AOVs a lot with this project to mask out different assets in the foreground and background so that the director could have more control over what was visible.
